This document complements the “Terms & Conditions” published on this site and defines the scope of obligations and disclaimers of Pishtaz Sorat Tabadol Kian (national ID 14009039475, postal license 1416-93-100). Content here is informational and does not replace individual legal advice. By using PST services, the User acknowledges and accepts these liability caps and exclusions. In disputes, the Postal Act, E-Commerce Act, and CRA directives prevail.

   1 — Accuracy of declared contents & value

   The sender is responsible for accurate and truthful declaration of contents, weight, dimensions, and value. Misdeclaration voids the right to compensation (even within the cap), the invoice is rewritten to reflect reality, and intentional cases are referred to authorities. Undervaluing to avoid duties is a tax and customs violation.

   2 — Prohibited and unlicensed items

   PST accepts no liability for shipments containing prohibited items (per the official Prohibited Items page) or items lacking required permits (health, standards, IATA-DG for dangerous goods). Such shipments are seized without compensation, referred to authorities, or destroyed. Seizure and destruction costs are charged to the sender.

   3 — Force majeure

   Delays or non-delivery from force majeure are outside PST’s obligations, including: earthquakes, floods, fire, civil unrest, strikes, sudden sanctions, airport closures, general flight halts, pandemics, infrastructure outages, and unexpected government orders. PST is only obliged to transparently communicate status and resume processing at the first opportunity.

   4 — Customs delays & destination seizure

   For international shipments, delays or seizures by destination customs (technical inspection, import permits, HS mismatch, health stops) are outside PST’s liability. PST will submit supporting documents on the sender’s formal request, but destination customs has the final say. Storage fees at destination are charged to the sender/recipient.

   5 — Financial liability cap

   PST’s financial liability per shipment is set by CRA and service type and is shown clearly on the invoice and acceptance receipt. To obtain higher coverage, the customer must declare true value and pay supplementary insurance. Otherwise, maximum compensation is the invoice cap.

   6 — Exclusions from insurance & compensation

   These are excluded even with supplementary insurance: (a) shortage from sender’s inadequate packaging; (b) breakage of fragile items without industrial packing; (c) perishables without cold-chain service; (d) damage from the item’s inherent nature (evaporation, shrinkage, fermentation); (e) consequential business damages from delay; (f) damage from proven recipient negligence or breach.

   7 — Website information accuracy

   Information on the PST website (rates, transit times, country list, customs rules, news) is kept up to date on a best-effort basis; international rules change constantly, so absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteed at all times. At registration, real-time info from PST’s operational system is what governs.

   8 — Links to external websites

   The PST website may link to carrier partners, government sites (cra.ir, customs.ir, ntsw.ir), foreign marketplaces (amazon.com, ebay.com), and payment gateways. PST has no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Visiting them is at the User’s own risk.

   9 — Sender errors in recipient address

   If the sender enters a wrong address, phone, or postal code, PST tries to correct it before the parcel leaves the main hub; once in the delivery network, delivery to the wrong address is outside PST’s liability and reshipping costs fall on the sender.

    10 — Pricing & regulation changes

    PST may, without prior notice, update rates, services, destination countries, and service terms per new CRA rules, FX changes, fuel cost fluctuations, international sanctions, and carrier partner contracts. Orders placed before a change run at the original rate.
